In this role you will expand ABB Robotics into Service Robotics, designing and deploying vision-guided robotic systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop dependable vision solutions that improve precision and throughput for healthcare, life sciences, foodservice, and retail.You’ll deliver high-quality, timely results while advancing vision capabilities and supporting customers through on-site commissioning and validation. This is an innovation-driven role with meaningful impact across industries.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Design, program, and commission vision-guided robotic systems using ABB robots and RAPID programming
- Integrate and optimize industrial vision systems for inspection and guidance
- Lead technical discussions and solve complex engineering challenges independently
- Support validation, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities including on-site work
- Coordinate technical support across development and production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on R&D, standardization, and documentation
- 4+ years of experience with industrial robots and robot cell integration
- Proficiency in robot programming (RAPID or similar) is a plus
- Strong hands-on experience with industrial vision systems (HALCON, Cognex, Keyence, Mech-Mind)
- Experience in vision-guided robotics applications (3D vision, bin-picking)
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP)
- Fluent English, willingness to travel and perform on-site commissioning
