In this role you will help grow ABB's Robotics business by expanding into Service Robotics and delivering vision-guided automation solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy vision-based systems for inspection, guidance, and precision tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.You’ll support the development of technical capabilities and services, while ensuring high-quality results within timelines and standards. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in a fast-moving, innovation-focused environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Design, develop, program, and commission vision-guided robotic systems using ABB robots including RAPID programming
- Integrate, calibrate, and optimize industrial vision systems for inspection and robot guidance
- Lead technical discussions, reviews, and independent problem solving on engineering challenges
- Support system validation, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance, including on-site work
- Coordinate and provide technical support across development and production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on R&D, standardization, and documentation
- 4+ years of experience with industrial robots and robotic cell integration (ABB, FANUC, KUKA)
- Robot programming experience (RAPID or similar) is a plus
- Hands-on experience with industrial computer vision systems (HALCON, Cognex, Keyence, Mech-Mind)
- Experience in vision-guided robotics apps (inspection, pick & place, guidance, measurement) including 3D vision and bin-picking
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP)
- Fluent English, travel/onsite commissioning availability
