In this role, you will lead the development of AI-enabled Azure PostgreSQL capabilities and related developer experiences. You will shape scalable APIs, SDKs, and AI-driven database features that empower developers to build intelligent applications on Azure PostgreSQL.You’ll collaborate across engine teams and open-source communities to deliver a high-quality, developer-first platform. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence the next generation of AI-powered database technologies at scale.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Lead design and development of AI Store capabilities (vector search, semantic indexing, AI-optimized features) for Azure PostgreSQL
- Architect scalable APIs, SDKs, and extensibility layers for advanced database and AI capabilities
- Create seamless developer experiences by integrating PostgreSQL with modern tooling and cloud platforms
- Collaborate with database engine engineers, PMs, and developer advocates to translate needs into platform innovations
- Design and deliver interfaces, SDKs, samples, and docs to enable AI-powered PostgreSQL applications
- Engage with open-source communities and ecosystem partners to gather feedback and inform evolution
- Champion developer-first mindset while advancing scalability, technical excellence, and innovation across the stack
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND extensive engineering experience with languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check and related screenings
