As Technical Product Owner for MDG within the Pharm Transcend program, you drive master data governance as part of a global ERP modernization. You translate business needs into deliverables, guide solution design, and partner with stakeholders and integration teams to ensure compliant, high-quality MDG implementations.You will operate in an Agile environment to align development with project plans and business priorities. This role offers impact across a large enterprise transformation and data governance discipline.

- Translate requirements into technical user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows
- Conduct gap analysis between current MDG functionality and business needs
- Support solution design to ensure governance principles and global standards
- Maintain and prioritize the Agile backlog; oversee delivery and validation
- Participate in sprint planning, Scrum ceremonies, and solution reviews
- Execute hands-on testing, validation, and acceptance checks
- Collaborate with stakeholders and integration partners; provide progress updates and risk tracking
- Support change management and documentation
- Ensure security, compliance, and data protection in MDG developments
- Embed data quality controls and governance into MDG workflows
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and templates
- Bachelor degree in related field (minimum)
- 6+ years total experience; 5+ years in workflow-based MDG platforms (SAP MDG or similar)
- Strong understanding of master data governance processes and principles
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional IT deliverables in large enterprise projects
- Experience with SAP data structures in MDG domains (materials, vendors, customers)
- Proficient in Agile environments and backlog/user story management tools (e.g., Jira)
- Analytical with high attention to detail; data/process evaluation skills
- Experience collaborating with external integration partners and internal process owners
- Ability to create process maps, swim lanes, and workflow documentation
- Experience in functional testing and validating MDG deliverables against acceptance criteria
- SQL or SAP reporting tools (e.g., SAP Fiori apps, Analysis for Office)
- Understanding of MDG integration touchpoints with SAP/non-SAP systems
- Ability to perform gap analyses and functional impact assessments
- Ability to review and provide feedback on functional specifications and configuration documentation
