Experteer Overview

In this role you will develop product data solutions, including web applications, RESTful APIs, and data pipelines, using microservice and event-driven architectures. You will enable data integration from on-premises and external sources into the MediaMarktSaturn landscape and implement cloud-native monitoring and alerting.

You will work with serverless and stateless components on GCP and own the end-to-end lifecycle from requirements with business stakeholders to implementation and continuous improvement. You will drive innovation in the product data area within a collaborative tech hub that supports Europe’s leading electronics retailer.

Develop product data solutions (web apps, RESTful APIs, data pipelines) using microservice and message-driven patterns
Establish data integration from on-prem and external sources into MediaMarktSaturn systems
Implement end-to-end cloud-native monitoring and alerting frameworks
Leverage serverless and stateless computing (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Run on GCP)
Own end-to-end from requirements refinement with stakeholders to conceptual design, implementation, and continuous improvement
Drive technology innovation in the product data domain

Responsabilidades

University degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, business information systems or similar
5–8 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot in backend development
Hands-on software development experience
Experience building large-scale distributed applications with microservices and RESTful APIs
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methods
Experience building microservice solutions on cloud (preferably GCP) is a plus
Data management experience, especially product data management in retail is a plus
