You will navigate regulatory procedures, draft and negotiate contracts, and manage disputes and external counsel. Your work helps drive Axpo’s sustainable energy strategy and ensure compliant, efficient project delivery. This is an opportunity to shape legal strategy in a fast‑paced, innovation‑led energy company.

• Provide comprehensive legal support for power generation and storage projects, focusing on acquisition and development of battery and biomethane projects in core European markets
• Advise on planning, approvals, and regulatory topics; draft and negotiate contracts and corporate documents; support contract execution
• Manage proceedings and disputes before authorities and courts; supervise external lawyers
• Provide legal advice to Axpo's decision‑making bodies
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Europe from the Madrid office

• Master's degree in Law with admission to the bar
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the energy sector or related fields (law firm or in-house)
• Experience in administrative law, energy law, planning and construction law, environmental law, and contractual/commercial law
• Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
• Fluency in English; knowledge of French, German, or Spanish desirable
