In this role you will build and lead a Barcelona-based team to advance clinical data capabilities. You translate clinical needs into analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions, shaping data platforms and RBQM-driven quality improvements.

You collaborate with global colleagues to accelerate trial delivery, enhance data quality, and support data-driven decision-making for patients. You will drive AI-first innovation and scalable data platforms within a hybrid work model.

  • Mentor and develop talent in clinical data analytics, RBQM, and technology solutions
  • Execute the Clinical Data Operations AI innovation strategy translating priorities into measurable outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across Global Clinical Operations and Clinical Data Operations to advance priorities
  • Oversee end-to-end Clinical Data Analytics and Technology activities including analytics, reporting, visualization, RBQM, and technology implementation
  • Develop innovative approaches for risk-based data review and monitoring leveraging automation and AI to improve quality and efficiency
  • Ensure delivery of compliant, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with GCP, GxP, GDPR, HIPAA, and data governance standards
Responsabilidades
  • Significant leadership experience within Clinical Data Operations, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Programming, or related clinical research environments
  • Proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of clinical trial operations, clinical data review, RBQM, and end-to-end data lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of AI, ML, automation, cloud platforms, and BI solutions (Power BI, Tableau) with application to clinical development or data transformations
  • Experience with modern clinical data technologies (EDC, CDR, SCE, J-Review)
  • Ability to translate clinical and business needs into analytics and technology strategies across functions
  • Familiarity with CDISC standards (SDTM), data governance, GCP and GxP compliance
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
