Lead, Finance Analytics & Enablement AI/ML

Experteer Overview

You’ll manage a small engineering/strategy team and shape high-impact, data-driven decisions in a fast-growing travel platform.

• Own the data warehouse strategy, governance and execution of the finance ledger
• Build and lead a Center of Excellence for reporting across finance and business units
• Create and track the Finance AI automation roadmap with FPu0026A, accounting and data teams
• Establish data pipelines and AI model foundations
• Understand and optimize GCP infrastructure costs with engineering and Financial Operations
• Make Finance the single source of truth and enable self-service analytics for stakeholders
• Manage a team of 4 engineers and 1 finance u0026 strategy manager
• Establish internal controls and support external audits related to data governance

• 15+ years in travel and/or SaaS
• Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)
• Engineering background preferred
• Fluency in SQL, Python, GCP and Data Science; hands-on coding
• Understanding of LLM-based systems, prompt design, and AI model evaluation frameworks
• Familiarity with automation frameworks and observability tools (Amplitude, Datadog, Looker) to assess reliability and performance
• Strong data reconciliation skills across large, multi-source datasets
• First-principles thinking; ability to question assumptions and stress-test processes
• Clear communicator with senior leadership and external partners
• Comfort with ambiguity and ground-zero building
