Experteer Overview
In this role you design and operate data pipelines and data-centric services to support applied R&D and European projects. You will work with researchers and engineers to turn data into product-ready solutions, including data lakes, warehouses, and federated query systems.You’ll help deploy European data spaces and manage orchestration, storage, and ML-ready infrastructure. Compensaciones / Beneficios- Design, build, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines ingesting heterogeneous sources into data lakes/warehouses with metadata and lineage tracking
- Contribute to federated query and discovery systems over distributed datasets (UNCAN.eu) using engines like Trino and privacy-compliant query optimization
- Contribute to deployment of European data spaces (DeployEMDS) using IDSA, Gaia-X, FIWARE blocks including catalogues, brokers, and connectors
- Build and maintain orchestration workflows with Airflow or Dagster following best practices (tests, code review, CI/CD)
- Package and deploy services using Docker and Docker Compose or equivalents
- Support ML projects with data storage, serving, and versioning infrastructure (object storage, SQL/NoSQL, feature stores)
- Collaborate on multi-cloud and on-prem deployments (Hetzner, Azure) and contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices
- Support preparation of technical sections in EU-funded proposals and contribute to scientific dissemination
- MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field; PhD or specialised Master valued
