As a Field Hardware Support Engineer at Amazon Robotics, you will support packaging and robotics technologies in fulfillment centers. You will work on-site with cross-functional teams to deploy, upgrade, and maintain advanced robotics systems, driving reliability and performance.The role involves hands-on troubleshooting, field testing, and developing tools and procedures to reduce downtime. A key part of the job is training local teams and providing voice-of-the-customer feedback to development teams. You will travel up to 50% to meet customers where the systems operate and to enable rapid, practical engineering improvements.

- Collaborate with product development, manufacturing and site reliability/maintenance/engineering teams to optimize robotics system performance
- Resolve technical inquiries and escalations for RME
- Diagnose and fix mechanical and system issues across Packaging and Robotics Systems
- Design and implement electro-mechanical tools and fixtures
- Develop proactive monitoring tools to measure safety, reliability and performance
- Create diagnostic tools to minimize downtime
- Develop preventative maintenance procedures and training content
- Lead on-site training for RME teams
- Manage spare parts processes and conduct safety, ergonomic and risk assessments
- Produce daily/weekly reports on safety, reliability and performance
- Provide requirements and voice-of-the-customer feedback to development and support teams
- Travel up to 50%
- Experience in technical support
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
- Experience troubleshooting and documenting findings
