As Engineering Manager at zooplus, you steer a Product Team within Customer Lifecycle & Engagement to deliver high-quality software while coaching engineers. - Contribute hands-on to team-owned products when needed
- 8+ years in Software Development
- Strong software engineering and system design fundamentals with hands-on experience
- Proven experience in people management and leading engineering teams
- Strong expertise in agile methodologies and practices
- Experience in internationally distributed teams
- Hands-on with Java/Kotlin as primary languages and Python as important secondary language
- Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous communication patterns
- Experience designing systems for large-scale data processing
- Experience with application monitoring and observability
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases
