We do this today to build a better tomorrow.Role PurposeAs an Edge Infra Security Architect, you will be working directly with the sales and field service engineer organization, product lifecycle, regulatory, Roche IT and your peers of product security engineering for establishing a secure network design of the Roche Laboratory Network for our medical devices (IoT/Edge) which is securely connected to Roche's healthcare services in the cloud.Your main responsibilities will include …* Design the Roche Laboratory Network enabling secure connection of the customer on premise devices to Roche's backend services in the cloud.* Design and maintain the scripts for firewall installation and configuration by Field Service Engineers* Design the network infrastructure in the cloud for the healthcare services in the cloud.
Script the designed infrastructure as code.* Second line support for firewall installation on customer site* Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the Roche Laboratory Network infrastructure* Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company's security team* Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.* Mentor and coach chapter members and wider PSPO as necessaryAs Security Architect you have:Mandatory:* 5+ years of related work experience on network security, defining and implementing firewall policy configurations* 5+ years' experience with network security automation and scripting preferably including AWS (preferred)/Azure/GCP DevOpsFurthermore you bring:* BA/BS in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant area of study, required* Proven hands-on network engineering experience* CCNP or higher (other relevant certifications highly valued)* Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)* Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model* Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewall products is beneficial* Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools (packet capture and analysis)* Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly* Experience in e.g. Ansible, Terraform are an additional benefit* You can lead and develop a global network security team independently* Ability to produce high quality policy documentation and compliance reports* Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly* Effective at engaging with executive leadership boards, lifecycle leaders, sales and field service organizations, customers and product development teams in various functions and across different levels* Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMindsetWe@RocheDiagnostics is the mindset and culture we as Diagnostics colleagues strive to adopt to help achieve our vision and realize our strategy.
