Experteer Overview

In this role, you drive cost engineering and digital optimization across procurement categories within Amazon’s Global Procurement Operations. You will partner with suppliers and internal teams to create robust cost models, steer should-cost targets, and support data-driven decision making.

You’ll implement KPI dashboards and a cost-engineering roadmap to unlock efficiency across packaging, services, robotics, and more. This is a chance to influence supplier choices and design-to-cost initiatives in a fast-growing, customer-centric environment.

Collaborate with suppliers and internal customers to identify cost-saving innovations and design-to-cost initiatives
Provide cost information to support management decisions
Develop and maintain cost-engineering KPIs and dashboards to track performance
Create and maintain a procurement cost-engineering roadmap and should-cost targets
Utilize costing methodologies and tools to build bottom-up cost models during design/spec development
Support tender preparation and evaluation, creating negotiation dossiers from a cost-engineering perspective
Advise on cost impacts of changes in specification

Responsabilidades

3+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement operations experience in indirect categories
3+ years of experience with demand forecasting and demand planning
3+ years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
Knowledge of SQL and Excel at an intermediate or advanced level
Experience with software programs for cost management and strong communication skills
