• Lead category sourcing strategies and execute contracts to strengthen Amazon's competitive position
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal total cost of ownership
• Drive continuous improvement through performance benchmarks and supplier relationship management
• Act as the market intelligence expert for the category, identifying opportunities and mitigating risk
• Own savings and sustainability targets; report progress against goals
• Build and maintain category metrics to track performance vs. plan; escalate and address gaps
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Sustainability, Finance, and Legal to align sourcing strategies with business needs
• Drive value engineering initiatives with suppliers to optimize specifications, reduce cost, and improve long-term performance
• Manage category strategies across multiple regions, ensuring global consistency and local compliance
• Evaluate emerging EV technologies and suppliers to keep Amazon's infrastructure ahead of the market
• Partner with program teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of installation projects
