As Frontend Lead Engineer for Prime, you guide a cross-functional team to grow our subscription-based journey. You shape technical strategy, translate complex specs into scalable frontend solutions, and drive performance and quality across a React/JS stack.You collaborate with Product, Architecture and Data Science to evolve the Prime domain, while mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of excellence. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic impact in a fast-moving travel tech environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Define and execute the technical strategy for Prime modules and ensure high performance and reliability
- Work with a modern frontend stack (ReactJS, GraphQL, Storybook, Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress; SASS, CSS-in-JS, styled-components) and Dockerized modules; manage Git CI workflows
- Translate functional specs into high-performance design and implement tasks that deliver rapid value
- Promote technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement across the team
- Lead a cross-functional agile team of 7-10 engineers; manage performance, goals and workload prioritisation
- Recruiting and onboarding of new engineers in collaboration with recruiters; onboarding into a high-performance culture
- Foster team identity, engagement and collaboration with the agile coach; improve team dynamics
- Mentor team members and support their professional growth
- Collaborate with Product, Business, Architecture and Data Science to shape the technical evolution of the Prime domain
- Knowledge and experience with OO design, system design, performance tuning, design patterns, data modelling
- Javascript and code base knowledge
- Experience with distributed, concurrent and scalable systems
- Experience with Applied AI Tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
- Experimentation mindset and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions in development workflows
- Strong communication and influencing skills; ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to deliver fast, data-driven decisions and maintain high standards of quality and technical excellence
- Experience developing and growing self and others; mentoring and coaching capabilities
