Experteer Overview
In this role you will contribute to designing and delivering electrical and electronic systems for satellites and payloads within a multidisciplinary team. You will develop and verify subsystems such as DHS and EPS, manage interfaces and requirements, and support procurement, integration, and quality activities.The position offers impact across Telecommunications, Earth Observation, Science and Navigation domains within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid. You will work on complex systems, shaping space products and ensuring on-time, on-cost delivery.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Own technical aspects for DHS, EPS or active antenna subsystems and equipment
- Draft and maintain subsystem requirements and schematics, review PCB designs
- Define verification/validation strategy and write test specifications
- Manage electrical interfaces, TM/TC, data links, harnesses, power budget and EMC
- Support procurement with technical follow-up and risk assessment
- Assist AIT with test systems, integration, and test reports
- Support Quality with anomaly investigations and NRBs
- Prepare technical documentation, presentations and proposals
- Lead technical reviews with equipment/board suppliers
- Collaborate with thermal, mechanical and harness disciplines throughout lifecycle
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Space projects experience (>=5 years)
- Space electronics detailed design and test
- Requirements management
- Subcontractor technical management
- Experience in at least one area: digital, analog and/or mixed-signal design; power electronics design; EMC engineering
- English advanced; Spanish advanced
- ESA standards experience
- Experience with DOORS, LT/PSPICE and/or MATLAB, ALTIUM, PYTHON (nice to have)
