Experteer Overview

As a Consulting Engineer in the global SME team, you advise on secure mobile and network infrastructure for service providers and enterprises. You lead technical discussions, PoCs, and reference architectures to demonstrate value and drive adoption of Palo Alto Networks solutions.

You collaborate with regional sales and channels to align outcomes with client needs, including AI security initiatives. You will present to technical and executive audiences and shape customer success through secure mobility and critical infrastructure security.

Lead business-relevant security conversations and product demos to differentiate Palo Alto Networks
Engage with stakeholders across client organizations from practitioners to executives
Act as the technical point of contact on RFIs/RFPs and architectural deep-dives in EMEA
Identify and qualify new opportunities with EMEA Service Providers and enterprises; enable channel partners
Serve as the EMEA pre-sales SME for mobile core, multi-access edge, and critical infrastructure
Position and drive AI-driven security across runtime protection and network defense
Incorporate deep networking (routing, switching, segmentation, IPv4/IPv6) into operator/enterprise architectures
Execute PoCs, evaluation plans, and lab work for mobile, critical infrastructure, and AI security
Architect customer solutions and document high-level designs and use cases
Support major customer escalations; provide field input to Product Management/Engineering on roadmap
Lead workshops on secure mobility and critical infrastructure; coach teams
Represent the company at industry events and through technical publications
Travel within EMEA for meetings and events

Responsabilidades

8+ years of experience in System Engineering or Systems Integration
Direct experience with 4G/5G networks and 3GPP standards
Knowledge of 4G/5G network elements and references in Service Provider and Private 5G contexts
Strong networking fundamentals (SP routing, IPv4/IPv6, IPSec, segmentation)
Experience with network and infrastructure security (firewalls, SASE, VPN, zero trust)
Working knowledge of public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), cloud-native infra, IaC, and DevOps
Container/orchestration experience (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Familiarity with AI/ML applied to security and runtime protection of AI apps
Strong communication skills; ability to present to diverse audiences
Analytical problem-solving under pressure; experience engaging executive audiences
