As Managing Director for Croda Iberica Sales Operations, you will lead the business unit to maximize profitability and ensure compliance with Croda policies and legal obligations. You will set strategic direction, oversee P&L, and drive growth through sales and cost control, while developing future leaders and ensuring CSR/SHE standards.You operate with high ethical standards, coach a diverse team, and shape regional strategy within the global Croda framework. This role offers influence over risk, remuneration, and cross-unit collaboration, in a hybrid Barcelona setting.

- Manage P&L and drive revenue growth while controlling costs
- Oversee all operational aspects of the business unit
- Ensure CSR and SHE management aligns with group standards
- Develop leadership capacity and succession planning within the organization
- Influence culture and monitor external best practices to improve operations
- Support structure, alliances, and potential M&A opportunities
- Define remuneration and reward for divisional employees in coordination with senior leadership
- Coach and develop leaders across levels and collaborate across business units
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent in a science-related discipline; MBA or further business qualification is an advantage
- Experience in sales and management roles in the chemical industry
- Proven ability to deliver results through others and manage diverse teams
- High ethical standards and challenging of current practices
- Strong leadership, strategy development, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong commercial/sales acumen and good judgement
- Knowledge of the chemical market in Spain and Portugal is highly desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office; fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written); knowledge of Catalan and/or Portuguese is a plus
