As Associate Director, Enterprise Architect Network Security, you shape the network security strategy and standards for a global organization. You will lead architectural design and governance for the network domain, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to secure the enterprise.

You drive risk-based decisions, evaluate tools, and evangelize architecture across teams. This role offers impact at scale, shaping secure connectivity in a multi-vendor, hybrid environment.

  • Oversee network security architectural activities for a defined domain or project portfolio
  • Define standards and direction for network security architecture within the domain
  • Develop logical architectural designs and strategies to secure the network
  • Apply architecture patterns to optimize technical platform use in the network security context
  • Create and evolve the Architecture Governance Framework for IT
  • Advocate for architecture processes and communicate outcomes to stakeholders
  • Assess network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps
  • Evaluate and select security tools and products to enhance security
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security across the network
  • Stay updated on security threats and best practices to keep defenses current
  • Provide guidance to engineering teams on security measures and issue resolution
  • Report regularly to senior management on network security status
  • Demonstrate expertise in network security products (NGFW, NAC, WAF, SDN, SASE, ZTNA, DDOS, Micro-segmentation)
  • Lead and deliver security-related projects with cross-functional impact
  • Mentor and lead technical teams in security initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders about risk and security posture
Responsabilidades
  • 15+ years in Network Security domain
  • minimum 5 years in architecture capacity
  • 5+ years of network security project experience and leadership of teams
  • Strong conceptual skills in network security architecture and enterprise solutions
  • Experience in defining network security policy, standards, guidelines, and patterns
  • Deep knowledge of network security products (SASE, Micro-Segmentation, NGFW, NAC, LAN/WAN security)
  • Strong risk identification mindset and initiative leadership
  • Proven ability to report to and communicate with senior management
  • Experience in multi-vendor, global environments and leading technical teams
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, delivery-focused
  • Ability to work with/without supervision to meet deadlines
