As Senior Data Center Construction Manager, you will lead AWS EMEA’s strategy to scale off-site, modular construction across data centers and power infrastructure. You will act as the regional SME, driving adoption of prefabricated and modular solutions across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems.You’ll collaborate withPreconstruction, Procurement, Design, and Operations to reduce onsite labour, improve safety and quality, and increase schedule resilience. This role requires broad regional impact with travel across Europe and strong vendor and cross-functional leadership.

- Develop repeatable frameworks for evaluating and implementing modular solutions
- Establish governance, reporting, and metrics for adoption, cost impact, schedule compression, safety, and quality
- Build scalable mechanisms to embed constructability and prefabrication into project lifecycles
- Partner with Preconstruction, Procurement, Design, and Operations to embed modular thinking early in projects
- Represent EMEA within the global Off-Site Assembly team and adapt innovations to regional conditions
- Influence General Contractors and vendors to adopt prefabricated solutions
- Enable regional Construction Managers through knowledge transfer and technical guidance
- Define technical standards for prefabricated systems aligned to AWS design requirements and local codes
- Build and maintain an approved vendor ecosystem across Europe
- Develop business cases quantifying labour reduction, schedule resilience, safety improvements, and total cost impact
- Drive competitive tension to improve cost, quality, and delivery timelines
- Shift high-risk activities to controlled factory environments
- Identify and mitigate modular risks including logistics, sequencing, and interface management
- Lead pilot implementations and scale successful solutions across regions
- Create playbooks and training to standardise adoption
- Measurably reduce onsite labour hours, achieve schedule improvements, enhance safety, and standardise prefabricated systems across regions
- Establish robust reporting quantifying off-site hours and related quality/safety improvements
- Forge strategic partnerships with qualified European fabrication vendors
- 10+ years managing mission-critical projects
- 5+ years in off-site construction or modularization for data centres or similar infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of CSA, Mechanical, and Electrical systems
- Experience influencing contractors and scaling new construction methodologies
- Experience with RFPs, change management, quality control, and portfolio reporting
- Fluency in English and Spanish
