In this role you will ensure high-quality software for the Whitespace Platform used by brokers and underwriters in the London market. You will work within the Platform team to design and execute tests that uncover regressions, validate new features, and support an expanding customer base.You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to maintain a robust QA process, contribute to automation, and help shape a seamless user experience in a fast-paced insurance tech environment. Compensaciones / Beneficios- Conduct end-to-end scripted testing for existing and new functionality on Web and iOS apps
- Perform exploratory testing based on business scenarios and validate if issues are regressions or pre-existing
- Capture and maintain test evidence (steps, screenshots, videos) per testing guidelines
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA peers, and developers to clarify business scenarios and ensure valid issues
- Lead automation and API testing as required, and extend test scripts to cover new functional enhancements
- Prepare, update, and maintain test scripts; liaise with BAs to cover new features
- Explain insurance concepts to QA peers to aid understanding of functionality
- Document test cases and test results; provide regular quality status updates
- Involve in acceptance criteria preparation for new functionality and release documentation
- Adhere to regulatory policies, training, and compliance processes
- Work with the team to plan implementation and review code changes
- Support training materials and release notes as needed
- Engage in continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tools
- At least 5 years of QA experience in a complex, agile environment
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Automation testing experience using Java, JavaScript or similar
- Experience in API and integration testing
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
- Insurance knowledge and familiarity with London markets
- Experience with application testing and user-acceptance testing
