Technical Sales Specialist – Microgrid Software Solutions

Experteer Overview

In this role you will drive growth of the HOMER software portfolio by combining deep technical knowledge of microgrids and energy management with consultative B2B selling. You will engage engineering firms, utilities, and developers through demonstrations, scoping, and solution architecture discussions to close high-value deals.

You will work with cross-functional teams to position HOMER Pro and HOMER Grid at conferences and events, supporting campaigns and feedback loops to improve market messaging. This is a hybrid/remote role that emphasizes influential communication, thought leadership, and end-to-end sales execution.

  • Manage the full B2B sales lifecycle from qualification to closing, with internal support
  • Represent UL Solutions/HOMER at conferences, webinars, and events
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and content for target markets
  • Provide client feedback to product teams and help shape go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with other segments to leverage synergies and maintain ongoing communication
Responsabilidades
  • Strong technical background in microgrids, distributed energy resources, or energy management systems
  • Familiarity with microgrid design software (HOMER preferred), EMS platforms, or energy analytics software
  • Proven ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and execute consultative sales strategies
  • Experience leading software demonstrations and communicating technical details to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales including closing complex deals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
