As Head of Valuations, you lead a global team of quantitative analysts responsible for defining and overseeing valuation methodologies and pricing for traditional, illiquid, and complex financial instruments. You drive governance, transparency, and compliance with IFRS13 and related standards, while shaping decision-making through expert analytics.

You will collaborate with executives, risk, and external partners to optimize valuation practices and automation. This role offers strategic influence, technical leadership, and the opportunity to advance a tech-driven valuation function within ServiZurich and Zurich Insurance Group.

  • Establish and oversee global valuation frameworks, methodologies, controls and governance (IFRS13 guidance)
  • Lead pricing processes for traditional, illiquid, and model-driven assets
  • Enhance pricing dashboard strategy for transparency of inputs and exposures
  • Ensure pricing activities are accurate, updated daily, and compliant with regulations
  • Chair the IFRS Group Valuation Forum and Group Pricing u0026 Valuation Committee
  • Provide commentary for annual report on fair value and level allocations
  • Conduct independent analyses of pricing, market trends, and vendor policies
  • Serve as primary service owner for all valuation and pricing matters with stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with external providers, asset managers, and auditors
  • Foster financial market expertise and act as SME in valuation domain
  • Provide ad hoc quantitative analysis on pricing, reference data, and accounting topics
  • Represent strategic topics to executive, risk, and regulatory bodies to improve processes
  • Create a trusted environment and coach teams to high performance
  • Collaborate with experts across technologic domains and continuously develop skills
  • Support modernization and automation of valuation processes
Responsabilidades
  • Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance or Mathematics/Statistics
  • 8+ years in a similar finance role
  • Strong managerial and leadership abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive influencing skills
  • Deep understanding of Financial and Capital Markets
  • Solid knowledge of mathematical and quantitative models
  • Experience in Market Risk management and valuation of financial instruments
  • Knowledge of valuation methods for traditional and non-traditional instruments (structured securities, private credit, syndicated loans)
  • Proficiency in data science and programming (Python, SQL)
  • English fluency (spoken and written)
  • FRM, CFA, CAIA (desirable)
  • Experience with Data Management u0026 Investment Accounting (IFRS13) would be a plus
