The role focuses on building high-performance microservices and APIs that enable faster, safer regulatory processes. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team shaping pharma compliance and innovation at scale.

• Design, develop and maintain backend Java services and APIs in a microservices architecture
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using TypeScript and Node.js (Nest.js)
• Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on AWS with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code following backend best practices
• Troubleshoot, optimize and maintain existing systems for reliability and performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams
• Contribute to improving scalability, reliability, and performance of the platform
• Participate in Agile delivery processes with stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience
• 5+ years designing and maintaining scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
• 5+ years working with microservices and distributed architecture
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments
• TypeScript and Node.js (Nest.js) proficiency
