In this role you enable Liebherr’s global SAP S/4HANA transformation from Madrid, ensuring reliable, secure SAP operations across Development to Production. You will interface with SAP RISE service teams and partners to coordinate deployments and keep systems aligned with global standards.You’ll optimize availability, performance, and security while supporting both transformation projects and BAU, in an international, cross-functional setting. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a fast-growing digital journey with travel up to 30%.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Operate and manage SAP systems within RISE with SAP, ensuring high availability and stability across all environments
- Serve as technical interface between SAP RISE teams and external partners, coordinating issues and implementations
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity against SLAs and proactively address issues
- Coordinate maintenance activities including upgrades, patches, and support package implementations
- Manage SAP transport, release, deployment, and cutover activities per change management standards
- Support system security, authorizations, and compliance with security teams
- Oversee MDG hub architecture configuration, workflow transport management, and SAP integration with S/4HANA and downstream systems
- Support EWM technical operations including connectivity, qRFC/IDoc, batch jobs, and Fiori configurations
- Maintain technical documentation using JIRA and Confluence
- Travel up to 30% to Liebherr sites worldwide for deployments and engagement
- Bachelor or Master in Information Technology or related discipline
- 5+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, preferably in S/4HANA environments
- Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Edition) or managed SAP cloud environments
- Strong understanding of SAP technical operations, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Experience with SAP support organizations, incident management, and external service providers
- Knowledge of SAP HANA fundamentals and SAP transport management (STMS, CTS/ChaRM is a plus)
- Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and RFC/API communication management is a plus
- Basic understanding of SAP MDG hub architecture and SAP EWM technical landscape is a plus
- Experience with SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) for monitoring, change management, and operations is highly desired
- Structured, service-oriented mindset; collaborative in multicultural teams
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%
- SAP certifications (Basis, S/4HANA, HANA, or RISE) are a plus
