In this role you will build and own data products on Allianz Direct's data platform to support a customer‑centric insurer. You will collaborate with functional experts to translate business needs into scalable, high‑quality data solutions. You’ll enforce data governance and security while enabling data democratization through clear documentation and guides.This position offers the chance to shape the data architecture in a fast‑growing, agile environment and to drive impact across the organization.

- Ensure platform security, governance and compliance best practices
- Enable data democratization with data dictionaries, flow diagrams, and user guides
- Foster a data-centric culture across the organization
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply relevant learnings
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years in business intelligence, data warehousing and data modelling
- Strong data modelling techniques and lakehouse architecture
- Proficiency in SQL with complex queries
- Extensive knowledge of bi-temporal modelling
- Expertise with Databricks & DBT
- Programming knowledge in Scala or Python
- Hands-on experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms
- Moderate experience with Power BI or equivalent data visualization tool
- Experience with data-mesh architecture
- Excellent English communication skills
