You will lead N26's Generative AI initiatives, shaping the strategy and architecture for production-ready GenAI solutions. As Head of Data Science, you’ll drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact AI features for millions of customers across Europe.You’ll build and scale MLOps, governance, and AI transformation programs while mentoring a diverse team of AI experts. This leadership role combines strategic direction with hands-on oversight to accelerate innovative GenAI capabilities.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Define and execute the Data Science roadmap for Generative AI aligned with product and business goals
- Architect and drive end-to-end AI transformation including MLOps infrastructure and governance standards
- Lead, mentor, and scale a diverse AI/ML team with emphasis on technical excellence and impact
- Provide strategic and architectural guidance for production-ready GenAI (language and vision) solutions
- Oversee end-to-end AI projects from research and MVPs to scalable production deployment
- Collaborate with Product, Backend Engineering, Compliance, and Executive leadership to identify high-leverage opportunities and measurable value
- 8+ years in development, production, and scaling ML/AI solutions
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing AI/ML teams
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to define ambitious technical roadmaps
- Mastery of ML algorithms, DL, and generative AI architectures
- Proficiency in Python and experience with generative AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph)
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
