Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer

Experteer Overview

You’ll develop and maintain security tooling to automate compliance and threat detection, driving a strong security posture across global infrastructure. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role in a fast-growing, inclusive company.

• Define and drive security strategy for cloud environments from design to operation
• Lead vulnerability and risk management, maintain risk register, and prioritize remediation
• Implement rigorous hardening strategies across infrastructure and containers
• Monitor detections, conduct incident response and root-cause analysis
• Develop and manage infrastructure security tooling (CNAPP, CSPM, vulnerability scanners)
• Secure CI/CD pipelines and runners within the build/deploy environment
• Collaborate with IT, DX and SRE teams to automate security controls
• Create and maintain incident response plans and infrastructure security policies

• 5+ years in Infrastructure Security or Security Engineering in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and containerization (Kubernetes)
• Strong vulnerability management expertise with enterprise-grade workflows
• Deep understanding of network security, Linux/Unix OS hardening, and IAM
• Solid knowledge of cloud/infra attack tactics and TTPs
• Proficiency with EDR, CNAPP, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Qualys, Wiz)
• Automation mindset with scripting in Python, Bash, or similar
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
