Experteer Overview
As a Senior Product Designer at Datavant, you will lead design for complex, data‑intensive product areas central to healthcare data. You will partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape end‑to‑end experiences, from discovery to iteration.You’ll conduct research, develop personas, map workflows, and create IA and prototypes to drive meaningful improvements. This is a hands‑on, cross‑functional role that helps Datavant advance its mission of secure and actionable health data at scale.

- Measure UX impact from early designs to mature products
- Create user flows, journey maps, and service blueprints to clarify solutions
- Lead generative and evaluative user research, personas, and workflow analyses
- Design and prototype information architecture solutions
- Manage multiple projects across applications and features
- Contribute to building the design culture at Datavant
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a product designer
- Bachelor or Master in Human Factors, User Experience Design, HCI, Information Science, or related discipline
- Strong skills in interaction design and user experience
- Fluency in Figma or similar prototyping tools
- Extensive experience in user‑centered design
- Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Online or PDF portfolio
- Familiarity with working in agile teams
- Experience leading user research (generative and evaluative) and mapping complex workflows
