As a Senior Automation & Integration Engineer, you will act as a technical architect driving scalable AI-powered automation across the Celonis stack. You connect, transform, and orchestrate data flows between core systems (notably Workday) to improve efficiency and reliability.

You’ll partner with cross-functional teams, balance innovation with security, and mentor others while shaping end-to-end integration solutions. This role offers impact by enabling scalable, compliant operations and data-driven business improvements.

  • Design and build scalable AI automation workflows using Make to connect core business systems, focusing on Workday as the ERP backbone
  • Own end-to-end integration across tools, managing data flows, transformations and database interactions
  • Explore and deploy AI-enabled automation applications to enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HR/P&C, IT and other teams to identify automation opportunities and bridge business needs with system capabilities
  • Experiment with new technologies while ensuring security, data integrity, and scalability, especially with sensitive Workday data
  • Contribute to governance and documentation for automation workflows and Workday integration standards
  • Diagnose complex cross-system issues, identify architectural gaps, and propose trade-off balanced solutions
  • Mentor junior colleagues and promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
Responsabilidades
  • 4+ years building production-grade automation workflows with Make (preferred) or alternatives, including multi-step integrations, error handling, retries, and auditability
  • Hands-on Workday Finance and/or HCM integration experience and understanding of data models, including EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, PECI/PICOF, or REST/SOAP APIs
  • Experience designing and deploying AI-powered workflows (LLM-based agents) and evaluating AI tools with structured POCs and clear assessments
  • Proactive, fast-paced self-starter who can operate with changing requirements
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with Finance and P&C, and technical teams
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technical skills in a rapidly evolving landscape
