Experteer Overview

The role involves Airbus Defense derivative programs (A321 AEWC, A330 derivatives) and opportunities to pioneer advanced structural design methods. You will see your work reflected in the final aircraft and contribute to continuous improvement.

• Design structures for major aircraft components, elementary parts and assemblies optimizing weight, cost, performance and production constraints
• Define design principles, tolerances, interfaces and frontiers for structural components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (stress, systems analysis, installation, manufacturing, configuration, certification) and with external suppliers
• Support end-to-end lifecycle of aircraft products in design processes using modern tools
• Follow-up design support of external Tier-1 suppliers and engage in continuous improvement of design methods
• Participate in state-of-the-art design practices on Airbus Defense projects
• Contribute to technology development in structural disciplines and pursue expertise
• Ensure awareness of compliance risks and act with integrity

• 10-15 years of experience in metallics and composites applied to aerospace, especially airframe structures
• Experience in wing, empennage and fuselage structures, systems installation and mechanisms (e.g., doors)
• Strong knowledge of Airbus methods, tools, regulations and directives is a plus
• Fluency in English and Spanish; French knowledge is a plus
• Good communication, proactivity, goal orientation, open-mindedness, collaboration and project management
• Experience with external S/C Tiers-1 management is a plus
