Sports IT Architect Lead

You’ll drive innovation with product managers and partners to create reusable patterns and optimize delivery. You will also support pre-sales, scope projects, and guide architecture for POCs and scalable productization. This position connects technical vision with business value in a global, sports-focused environment.

• Take ownership of post-sales solution architecture aligned with Lenovo standards
• Design and maintain end-to-end architectures ensuring scalability, security, and resilience
• Translate business and technical requirements into implementable solutions; oversee NFRs, SLAs, and testing
• Collaborate with product managers, R&D, and partners to develop reusable architecture patterns
• Monitor infrastructure costs and identify efficiencies to reduce complexity and improve delivery
• Contribute to pre-sales and SOWs with clear technical assumptions and constraints
• Lead technical strategy for POCs and incubation initiatives, defining scalability requirements
• Provide operational architecture support for major events with governance and risk mitigation

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years in solution, enterprise, or technical architecture roles with end-to-end ownership of complex multi-system implementations
• Experience designing architectures for large, integration-heavy programs (applications, data, networks, infrastructure)
• Strong hands-on knowledge of hybrid cloud and modern application architecture (APIs, microservices, data integration, AI/ML)
• Proficiency with architecture diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io) and presentation software
• Ability to translate complex concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders
• Big-picture thinker who designs scalable and secure solutions aligned with long-term strategy
