You will work across geographies to improve ING's detection and defensive posture and collaborate with threat hunters and detection teams. • Apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI-assisted models to identify, prioritise, and investigate cyber threats.
• Transform large-scale security, threat intelligence, and telemetry data into actionable insights for hunters and decision-makers.
• Develop data-driven threat models linking adversary behaviour, vulnerabilities, and exposure.
• Leverage automation and AI to speed up threat analysis, pattern discovery, and hypothesis testing.
• Collaborate with threat hunters and detection teams to operationalise analytics into real-world security use cases.
• Communicate analytical outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Translate complex cyber threat problems into data-driven solutions.
• Practical experience applying data science, ML, or AI to real-world outcomes.
• Comfort working with large, diverse, imperfect datasets.
• Ability to partner with cybersecurity experts to deliver operational impact.
• Balance innovation with governance, quality, and explainability.
• Clear communication of insights to influence decisions.
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications in data science, ML, cloud platforms, or cyber security are advantageous.
