As Principal AI Engineer at Evinova, you will lead the design and productionisation of advanced ML models tackling healthcare challenges. You translate prototypes into scalable systems and own the ML lifecycle end-to-end, from data prep to deployment and monitoring.You will mentor team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI work with business goals and digital transformation in healthcare.

- Translate analytical prototypes into robust, scalable production systems
- Lead end-to-end ML lifecycle from data preparation to deployment and monitoring
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for model training and deployment
- Deliver production-ready code and infrastructure as code with best practices for quality, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
- Mentor team members with less technical software backgrounds
- Drive digital transformation in healthcare and align AI initiatives with business objectives
- Stay current with advancements in data science, AI and software engineering
- 5+ years in data science roles focused on production-ready solutions
- Strong Python programming with NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, Optuna and TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Experience developing and deploying Python APIs (FastAPI)
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks for design and orchestration
- Strong Python testing (pytest, unittest, mock)
- RESTful API design, documentation, DI, error handling, logging
- Proficiency with AWS (CDK, EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch)
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions
- Advanced SQL and graph databases
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Experience with AI tools and LLMs for practical apps
- Excellent communication and collaboration
- Innovation mindset and ability to work independently
