Experteer Overview

In this remote role, you work as part of a JavaScript-focused development team to design, build, and support API platform components. You will automate infrastructure and services, deploy software with DevOps tools, and set up development environments.

You’ll follow coding standards and test-driven practices to deliver clean, maintainable code. You’ll collaborate with Backend, BA, and Design to deliver new functionality and continuously improve the codebase, including thorough code reviews and mentoring peers.

Design and build infrastructure and application components for the API platform
Automate deployment and provisioning using DevOps tools (e.g., Terraform)
Set up development environments and promote best practices
Clarify work, estimate tasks, and break down work with the Dev Manager
Train and coach teammates on coding standards
Write clean code following SOLID, DRY, KISS principles
Cover new code with unit tests
Continuously improve codebase with new approaches and technologies
Conduct thorough code reviews
Collaborate with Backend, BA, and Design teams to deliver new functionality

Responsabilidades

JavaScript development experience
Familiarity with DevOps tooling and Terraform
Strong testing and code-review skills
Ability to work remotely and collaborate across cross-functional teams
Experience in designing and maintaining API-facing components
Proactive problem-solving and willingness to mentor others
