Director, Clinical Imaging – Respiratory & Immunology (R&I)

You will lead cross-functional collaboration, drive novel analyses, and foster external partnerships to advance transformative medicines for respiratory and immunology indications.

• Define and own cross-program imaging strategy for assigned assets; translate disease biology into actionable imaging endpoints and decision points in the CDP
• Lead selection, validation, and qualification of imaging endpoints (standard and exploratory) including modality/sequence decisions and harmonization plans
• Oversee imaging protocol design, charters, manuals, risk-based quality management, central reads, QC, and site training for multicenter trials
• Partner with data science/biometrics to architect data flows (DICOM to analysis-ready formats) and apply advanced analytics (radiomics, ML/AI, deep learning)
• Manage imaging CROs/core labs and vendors; build external collaborations to access novel techniques and reference datasets
• Anticipate and address regulatory expectations for imaging endpoints; contribute to submissions and responses including validation packages and sensitivity analyses
• Publish and present imaging strategies and readouts; elevate imaging literacy across R&I and mentor colleagues

• 5+ years with a Doctoral degree in an imaging-related field (PhD and/or MD) or equivalent training
• Strong background in clinical imaging modalities (preferably CT and MRI) with acquisition and analysis expertise
• Proven track record leading imaging endpoints in Phase I–IV trials in multicenter settings
• Experience with quantitative image analysis and image informatics (DICOM standards, curation, harmonization, QC)
• Ability to analyze and interpret large multimodal datasets (imaging + clinical + biomarkers/omics) and collaborate with statisticians and data scientists
• Strong cross-functional leadership and influence in fast-paced, matrixed environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication translating imaging concepts to diverse stakeholders
