Process Engineer II

Experteer Overview

This role combines hands-on testing with process optimization to support high-quality manufacturing at scale.

• Analyze daily yield reports to identify operator errors, defects, and test-related issues; drive corrective actions
• Increase production yields by reducing operator errors and channeling defects to the appropriate departments
• Assist Test Engineer in developing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
• Analyze downtime data to guide preventative maintenance scheduling
• Maintain process manuals and documentation
• Review 5x5 tests for compliance and accuracy
• Conduct walkthroughs, inspections, product evaluation, and testing as needed
• Conduct NPI test evaluations and prevent test escapes
• Ensure testing completeness and reliability across products
• Update and generate documentation as required
• Assist Project Test Engineer with test process reviews
• Evaluate test probes and set up equipment for programming and verification tests
• Ensure quality and improve efficiency using SPC systems when available
• Operate automated electronic test equipment on PCB assemblies
• Maintain continuous production flow and meet production goals while performing test duties
• Label, stamp, and tag boards; communicate recurring test failures to supervisor
• Ensure proper handling and marking of assemblies; maintain daily logs and production tickets
• Follow standardized written directions for test operations; adhere to safety and security policies
• May perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to present information to managers, clients, and teams
• Strong math skills including probability, statistics, and geometry basics
• Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
• Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven approach
• Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and diagrams
• Three to five years of relevant experience
