AP Supervisor

This position offers a meaningful opportunity to shape financial processes within a growth-focused, tech-enabled services company in Barcelona.

• Final review and approval of vendor invoices to ensure correct accounting allocation and cost center assignment
• Review and approve vendor creation/modification in the system with SOX compliance and security controls
• Serve as primary reference for AP and other departments on invoice coding, tax implications, and payment records
• Act as operational backup for AP team during absences or peak workloads
• Calculate and communicate month-end expense accruals for invoices not yet received or processed
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and explaining AP workflows
• Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to standard accounting practices and company guidelines

• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting with oversight experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with Netsuite or other accounting software is a plus
• Deep knowledge of general ledger structures and accrual-based accounting
• Excellent English communication skills for regional coordination and audits
