We are seeking a Labor Relations Manager to oversee and drive all aspects of employee relations and labor strategy across local operations. The role involves ensuring full compliance with labor legislation, promoting constructive collaboration with employee representatives and unions, and handling workforce matters with fairness and integrity.
¿Qué harás en tu nuevo puesto?- Define, implement, and monitor labor relations programs at the local level, aligning practices with corporate standards and legal requirements.
- Proactively identify potential labor-related risks and design strategies to mitigate them before they escalate.
- Mediate and resolve workplace disputes, ensuring equitable and timely solutions.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives in payroll, HR operations, and overall employee experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor in negotiations with unions and employee representatives, leading collective bargaining efforts when required.
- Ensure all HR policies, labor agreements, and employment laws are consistently applied across the organization.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR operations and payroll specialists, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Provide expert guidance and training on employment law, disciplinary procedures, employee rights, and union relations.
- Maintain accurate records of labor agreements, grievance cases, and negotiation outcomes.
- Track changes in employment regulations and labor laws, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
- Represent the organization during labor inspections, audits, and formal discussions with authorities or employee bodies.
- Work closely with HR business partners, legal teams and payroll to create consistent, integrated approaches to people management.
- Ensure the integrity of employee data and adherence to HR processes.
- Proven experience in HR: minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably including production or operational environments.
- HR operations knowledge: Experience in payroll management, HR administration, and compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR).
- Language skills: Advanced English and fluent Spanish.
- Interpersonal skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities, with experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
