This is an opportunity to shape finance transformations at a global scale within Bayer’s diverse, cross-functional hub.

• Design and implement accounting and reporting processes enabling Bayer Financial Statements for projects (acquisitions, business model changes, integrations, M&A, SAP implementations)
• Act as cross-functional SME in ERP/BI projects, focusing on functional design and financial standards
• Lead migration and M&A finance projects for asset/liability transfers with legal compliance
• Coordinate with stakeholders and external providers to ensure transparent communication
• Interface IT and R2R organization for new ERP/BI projects
• Apply risk and impact assessment methodologies using analytical tools and align inputs from project teams
• Support team knowledge building and develop project documentation guidelines
• Track project status and manage risks; maintain strong stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate with Global Finance Process Owners, IT ERP Projects, M&A HQ, Accounting & Controlling teams, external consultants and auditors

• Experience in global projects as a functional SME in Record to Report
• Solid financial knowledge and familiarity with general, BKA and BMA guidelines
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes (SAP unconsolidated to consolidated reporting)
• Deep knowledge of Bayer organizational structures and accounting vs controlling requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to push for standard adherence and influence across stakeholders
• Good coordination and influencing skills; strong teamwork
• Digital mindset to optimize processes using analytical tools
• Ability to extract key messages and communicate with stakeholders
• Lean, pragmatic approach to reduce complexity and create stakeholder value
