Project Engineer (Production Plant)

Experteer Overview

You’ll manage risks, lead the project team, and oversee contracting and supplier performance to ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery. This role places you at the center of design, construction, commissioning, and project closeout within Henkel’s standards, delivering value in a factory environment.

• Frame project objectives with sponsor and stakeholders
• Define scope of work and execution plan aligned to business goals
• Develop and maintain project schedule with activity durations
• Prepare and manage project budget and cost submissions
• Monitor actual costs and progress against budget
• Identify risks and define mitigation actions; escalate issues
• Lead project team with clear roles and resources
• Coordinate contracting models and supplier management with Purchasing
• Complete detailed design and execute within budget and schedule
• Manage scope changes within governance
• Oversee stakeholder communication and professional support
• Organize FAT, commissioning, start-up, and project closeout
• Adhere to Henkel project management standards and systems

• Engineering background (Mechanical/Process or Electrical/Automation)
• 2-3 years of experience in project engineering of chemical production u0026 packaging equipment and installation
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Proactive attitude to optimize processes in a factory environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Lean manufacturing knowhow (optional)
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Project (MSP) preferred
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
• Location: Montornes del Valles
