Experteer Overview

You will join Glovo’s Quick-Commerce Global Services to help build scalable backend systems for a fast-growing, global delivery ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with product, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to onboard vendors and scale operations across the Delivery Hero Group.

The role focuses on solving complex problems, improving system design, and driving engineering excellence in a high-velocity environment. This is a chance to shape critical infrastructure that enables rapid grocery and daily needs delivery at scale.

Compensaciones / Beneficios

Onboard and support vendors in the early stages within a cross-functional team
Troubleshoot issues and analyze solutions, delivering timely fixes
Collaborate with product managers, engineering leaders, and leadership across Q-Commerce
Lead the creation and improvement of scalable, reliable systems
Drive engineering best practices, design patterns, and system design discussions (RFCs)
Mentor teammates and raise the collective technical level
Lead initiatives involving multiple squads or stakeholders
Contribute to setting technical vision and strategy with domain leads

Responsabilidades

7+ years of backend development experience in Java and/or Kotlin
Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)
Experience with message brokers (SNS/SQS, Kafka, or Pub/Sub)
Strong emphasis on code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices
Proven ability to lead initiatives across teams and mentor others
Excellent English communication skills
Ability to influence technical direction and drive scalable architecture
