Experteer Overview

This position offers exposure to hyper-scale projects and a mix of office and field work, with opportunities to influence global data center standards.

• Troubleshoot and conduct RCA/CA documentation for site/equipment failures
• Provide ad-hoc training and review critical operating procedures
• Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to improve capacity, availability, efficiency, and sustainability
• Coordinate with data center operations, design engineering, server hardware, EHS to promote standards
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS data centers
• Manage concurrent projects across regions
• Initiate and lead engineering audits with on-site visits and risk reports
• Act as resident engineer during new construction projects, supporting construction, commissioning, and turnover

• Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers
• Knowledge of HVAC systems
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent field
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for the region (preferred)
• Knowledge of commercial or industrial power or mechanical systems (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) (preferred)
