Senior Data Engineer - AI Platform

Experteer Overview

Your work will drive observability, security, and replayability across data and AI tools. This role offers hands-on impact in a fast-paced fintech environment with a strong Open Source ethos and opportunities to shape next-gen data platforms.

• Design and deliver core components of the Agentic Data Plane (A2A communication, Agent Tool Registry, governed data access)
• Build platform primitives for secure tool use coordination and policy guardrails
• Provide end-to-end observability for agentic products, including data dependencies and traces
• Integrate the ADP with governed data foundations (catalog, metadata, data warehouse, vector retrieval)
• Collaborate with domain teams to onboard pilot agents and promote platform standards
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging AI technologies (LLM evaluation, prompt safety, agent memory)

• Platform engineering experience building internal platforms used by other engineering teams
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (API design, reliability, testing, operability)
• Experience building secure systems (authn/authz, audit logs, least-privilege)
• Hands-on experience operating production services on GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions)
• Proficiency in Python for platform services and data tooling
• Experience with agentic or LLM-based systems in production (plus)
• Familiarity with data governance concepts (lineage, access controls) and data platform ecosystems
• Fluency in English (Spanish a plus)
