In this role you will help build and sustain reliable, scalable MDM solutions on the Stibo STEP platform, aligning with BASF’s global data strategy. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs, develop in STEP, and ensure data quality and governance.The role supports automation, compliance and growth across the agricultural value chain by delivering high-quality master data. You will join a global, inclusive team that values learning and knowledge sharing, offering a meaningful opportunity to shape BASF’s data landscape.
Compensaciones / Beneficios- Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specs and plan resources and timelines
- Develop and maintain features in the Stibo STEP platform, including workflow customization, business rules in JavaScript, WebUI, and data model configurations
- Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews to uphold standards
- Utilize Azure DevOps for code repositories, task management, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure system quality and performance through testing, monitoring, and optimization, including security and access controls
- Support issue resolution, debugging, and documentation of technical progress in the STEP environment
- Contribute to data integration by modeling and linking internal and external data sources within STEP
- Engage with BASF development communities to promote knowledge exchange and innovative data-driven solutions
- 2+ years of experience with Stibo STEP modules (development, configuration, customization)
- Solid understanding of PIM/MDM principles with STEP workflows, attributes, WebUI customization, and business rules
- Experience with shared and customized STEP environments and core/advanced STEP functionalities
- Familiarity with STIBO reporting/monitoring and MDM/PIM development best practices
- Proficiency in JavaScript for business rules and data modeling concepts
- Hands-on agile experience with Azure DevOps, including version control and CI/CD
- Strong analytical and communication skills; collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Stibo Systems certification is a plus
